The true story of Molly Bloom, a beautiful, young, Olympic-class skier who ran the world's most exclusive high-stakes poker game for a decade before being arrested in the middle of the night by 17 FBI agents wielding automatic weapons. Her players included Hollywood royalty, sports stars, business titans and finally, unbeknown to her, the Russian mob. Her only ally was her criminal defense lawyer Charlie Jaffey, who learned there was much more to Molly than the tabloids led people to believe.

I was riveted from beginning to end with Molly's Game. It has some of the best performances of the year, it has some of the best writing of the year and it has a true life story that is so vastly strange and unbelievable that it truly has to be witnessed.

Oops. I think I’ve seen this before as some scenes were very familiar. But worth the watch again. A long but interesting movie based on a true story. Jessica chastain delivers a great performance.

Aaron Sorkin’s trademark snappy and smart dialogue is on display and delivered expertly by Jessica Chastain and Idris Elba. It’s the funny, sad, gripping and thrilling story of former competitive skier turned "Poker Princess", Molly Bloom. Yes, the dialogue Sorkin is known for for is also incredibly unrelatable and unbelievable, but man it’s fun to watch professionals deliver it professionally.
