There are movies and characters, that even though you pine to do them, just should not be done. Mr.Branagh, sadly, in my opinion, is the worst movie actor Poirot. He is too big, too light, and not "Belgie" enough. A man as talented as he, should have known better. This movie is slow paced and dull. My expectations were high, was excited to go see it, and was sorry I did.

A fun movie with an excellent cast, exciting plot twists, and a surprise ending I won't spoil. The sequel, Death on the Nile, is also quite good.

A visual stunning film, great for a lighthearted, cosy night in. 4 stars because the plot is utterly predictable and I found myself saying many of the dramatic lines aloud before the characters did, but I still enjoyed the experience. A good comfort movie all in all.
