While out hunting, Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) finds the grisly aftermath of a drug deal. Though he knows better, he cannot resist the cash left behind and takes it with him. The hunter becomes the hunted when a merciless killer named Chigurh (Javier Bardem) picks up his trail. Also looking for Moss is Sheriff Bell (Tommy Lee Jones), an aging lawman who reflects on a changing world and a dark secret of his own, as he tries to find and protect Moss.

The lack of respect for the body, the sheer bloody aftermath depresses me. Yes, they may handle the killing with verve and ironic tension, but this is a Coen brothers film too far.

The folksy characters typical of the Coens’ work are perfectly juxtaposed against the ruthlessness of Bardem’s incomparable performance. Both the landscape and soundscape are simultaneously barren and rich, mirroring the understated yet powerful dialogue.

A cinematic masterpiece from the Coen Brothers. Josh Brolin finds himself in a formidable situation after discovering two million dollars while trying to avoid a hunting killer. Javier Bardem delivers one of the best villainous role of all time. His presence of pure evil is felt throughout the entire film. In direct contrast to Tommy Lee’s character who just can’t understand the nature of said evil. The movie explore various themes of good vs evil, fate and chaos in our world.

Don’t waste your time on this, no idea how it has such high rotten tomatoes. Little dialogue and little plot. Lots of pot holes in scenes. The ending is horrible worst movie ever genuinely no reasons to anything happening. Overall not worth the time.
