Childhood friends Conner (Andy Samberg), Owen (Jorma Taccone) and Lawrence (Akiva Schaffer) found fame and fortune after forming the hip-hop group the Style Boyz. Owen and Lawrence faded into the background when frontman Conner left the band to launch a successful solo career. Now, the egotistical singer decides to film a documentary about his life while he's still on top. When his second album flops, the camera is there to capture his world come crashing down.

Almost a masterpiece of a movie. Overall, really funny! The songs are great, that is their deal, they're great at making music and comedy. If you like Lonely Island songs, you'll love their job with this movie, simple as that. I'm not a big fan of some parts of the movie, but that is normal, you won't laugh at everything.

So I am going to stop you here. Watch it yourself and make your own judgement. I fell asleep in the first 15 minutes so I do NOT think it was as funny as most of the people I follow on Youtube say it is. I think it was Film threat that recommended this movie, so maybe look for a review or just watch it and report on it yourself.
