Strong shoulders carried this film to us and I’m grateful for their work. See more Mike M @RT09645912 Jul 10 Touching and very well acted with the " Twist" coming halfway through and making the movie even more poignant. Great performances from Crudup, Yelchin, Huffman , Fishburne even Macy himself low key as it is. Musician Ben Kweller adds legitimacy to the live shows in the film. Very well directed initial effort by Macy and a look at a different side of a tragic event. I shocked that it didn’t get nominated for many awards. The performances are complex, moving, and touching, and the storyline will throw you for a loop at the end. The songs are all excellent.
