Isaac O @Isaac_FilmFan 2 days ago If I can describe this biopic in one word it will be “meh”, I will say that this has some great writing from Aaron Sorkin, good directing from Danny Boyle, and some great acting performances from Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, and Seth Rogen. But this movie will not be a movie for most people including me, since it involves around business conflicts, and gives you lots of information that you can get lost. Also the information that the movie gives you are all about stuff that happened before the events of the movie which makes it even more difficult to understand what’s going. So in short Steve Jobs has some great acting, writing, and directing but falls short from so much information that might leave audiences confused with the story. See more RTP, LLC T @RT55945699 May 31, 2026 I resisted watching this movie because I figured it was just another fawning biopic, probably commissioned by Jobs' estate. Then I found out Sorkin wrote it and figured it had to have some redeeming quality. Well, it far exceeded my modest expectations. It is brilliant and engaging, revealing and touching. Of course the rapid fire Sorkin dialogue is there, but what really puts it over the top is the acting, particularly Fassbinder, Winslet, Daniels and Rogen, and the emotional depth.
