See more yash b @yashbansal 11/24/2020 I have never really been one to love historical Indian movies, and I like "Tanhaji" about as much as I have liked some others. The movie has some decent entertainment value but doesn't have enough depth to the characters. Everyone is so clearly good or evil and that makes the movie feel a bit simple, even if the actors do a solid job. I also think the visual effects are kind of bad in some moments which really took me out of the experience. I think the movie builds up to a fast and entertaining final act, but the movie left me wanting more when it comes to character development. Also, very important point about Suryaji cutting the bridge was dropped in the movie, maybe to enhance Ajay Devgan as main hero. Overall good entertainment but not much related to real history.
