This chilling chamber piece from the Norwegian director Andr Ovredal is an exercise in restrained horror. Go to Full Review

The second half is merely morbid runaround, punctuating its soundtrack crashes with self-justifying footnotes on historical misogyny. Go to Full Review

In this horror story much closer in spirit to Stephen King's novels than to cheap horror films, Ørvedal makes us feel and live with his revenge nightmare that which others (particularly women) have lived and felt. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Carlos H @carloshenriquec 3d Without a doubt, one of the most creative films about witchcraft I've ever seen. And I can't recall another film that deals with what is one of the most distressing and feared subjects for me: the autopsy of a body in the morgue (the idea of a body being examined in such an invasive way has always haunted me). The direction is extremely effective, with precise angles and scene cuts that make us feel the tension of the characters in front of the body of that unknown woman. Who is she? How did she get to that city? What was she doing buried in a basement? Little by little, the script, which is incredibly intriguing and intelligent, provides us with the pieces to discover the answers. The scene where they see inscriptions inside her body that seem to belong to some kind of ritual will stay in my memory for a long time. Brian Cox and Emile Hirsch are incredible. I loved the father-son dynamic between these characters. A GREAT FILM!!! 10/10 See more Sam M @SamOM Feb 19 Good, not great. The acting was brilliant, but something was missing. I am not sure what it was, and I won't be watching it back to find out See more jacehtc01 T @RT58231103 Dec 28 Very creepy. Would've liked a little more character development, but as horror movies go, this one is a gem See more Damien C @Dddmmmaaannn Dec 9 Unique and original movie. Would be better with a sequel or two. See more Jack F @MovieFan111 Nov 27 From what I remember, it was a good watch. Only one time though. It's not too well known, but if you're a horror fan, you should watch it.
