It was a little slow, but overall, this was an incredible medieval story. The scenery and action sequences were raw and beautiful, and the story was incredibly intriguing. Timothée Chalamet gave an astounding and moving performance as Henry V, and Robert Pattinson portrayed a mystifyingly vicious Dauphin. I definitely recommend this for medieval, history, drama, and period piece fans!

When you watch the individual scenes, every actor is perfect, the dialogue is perfect, the way the scene was directed is perfect. I don’t know if I ever watched a movie where every scene is written and acted out perfectly and yet the movie itself is far from perfect and leaves you wanting a more complete story.

I was deeply impressed with the entire cast as well as the writing and cinematography. Timothee Chalamet excels in the title role. Robert Pattinson is both hilarious and menacing as the Dauphin. I especially loved how the character of Falstaff was written here and how Joel Edgerton performed the role. It is a gripping drama that feels real, perhaps all too real at times.
