The death whistle comes with endless creative possibilities for scares, and Corin Hardy & Owen Egerton make the most of it. Whistle is the complete young adult horror package — great cast, clever concept, excellent execution, and a winning nostalgic feel.

Structurally, this is a wait-your-turn teen horror: who goes next, and how messy will it be? There’s nothing wrong with that, as Final Destination proved. But Whistle also seems to want gravitas, and never earns the emotional weight it's reaching for.

This movie is a really bad take on final destination. If you are into teenage lesbians and teenagers vaping marijuana this movie is for you. Stupid movie- But if you enjoy it a sequel is all setup. 👎
