Mating Season will never be confused for sophisticated comedy, but it is consistently funny... It feels like something written by adults, for adults -- perhaps not the most high-minded adults, but grown-ups nonetheless. Go to Full Review

Episodes mine comedy gold and will make you shoot water out of your nose at least once. But underneath its potty-mouthed humor, it’s sweet, accentuating how true-blue friendships can help each other survive the calamities of the dating and mating scene. Go to Full Review
Daniel Fienberg The Hollywood Reporter 6d
Mating Season offers plenty of amusement and the potential for growth is clear, even if for now you’re mostly there to laugh at the boffing bunnies, amorous antelopes, defiling deer, randy raccoons and prurient ponies. Go to Full Review

Mating Season relies heavily on crudely hypersexualizing animal mating rituals to get a laugh, but lacks the sharp writing necessary to keep it from becoming a running gag that consistently falls flat. Go to Full Review
Joel Keller Decider May 26
Mating Season has a couple of chuckleworthy moments in the first episode, but it’s trying too hard to be “adult” to give the characters a chance to develop. Go to Full Review

Full of surface-level jokes and references, Mating Season is a fine but lesser project from Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg. Go to Full Review

Air B @RT88506760 5d The series started terribly with its first 3 episodes; everything revolves around sex, which is to be expected given the creator's sense of humor. As the series progresses, it becomes more "decent," but that's all it is; it doesn't stand out in any way. There are 2 or 3 episodes that are actually very good, but other than that, the rest are just sex and animals. See more aw3s0m3 P @sh1nych4rlie 5d I really like the educational information about the behaiviors in animals. The 4 characters who are there since the beginning create a comforting atmosphere, their friendship feels really genuine and its fun to explore more of their lore and character throughout the show. It has fun ponds and the love stories are cute and relateable. See more Tanya A @RT44611482 6d Hilarious. Loved it. I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. Please do another season. Love all the guest actors on it. See more Zalfinn en cuarentena T @RT23597698 May 28 The Best A revolutionary series that will change the era of adult animation; keep watching for more episodes! See more R M @RT37493395 May 27 I have such Hollywood fatigue. Anything that comes out of California anymore I can't stand. Do better! See more Jeff G @BobbyBacala May 26 Dear Hollywood. Stop it. Knock it off. Be better. See more Read all reviews
