Genre fans will appreciate the naked hooters and the frequent gore-geysers, but you'll have to lean pretty heavily on the FF button if you want to get through the whole thing. Go to Full Review

B P @Bradster69 5 days ago Not Bad, but Not My Favorite See more Jun 26, 2012 This forgettable zombie flick commits one of the cardinal sins of the genre -- it's boring as hell! Furthermore, its plot is so convoluted and serpentine, it would have confused Salvadore Dali. At a running time of 1:38, one might imagine the pacing would be brisk. One would be wrong. At one point, I thought it must be wrapping up soon, but no -- I was barely 10 minutes into the thing! It went on, and on, and bloody on; by the time it was over, it felt as though several weeks had gone by. Another major mistake was in populating the film world with no likeable characters. Giving this half a star is being overly generous. Heed my advice: Do not waste your time on this drivel! Remove it from your Netflix queue. Pray it doesn't infest your local Redbox. You have been warned! See more Apr 5, 2012 Perhaps I'm an idiot, but I loved this film. It has an extreme low-budget, shot-on-video look and feels like a Toe Tag pictures kind of production, but unlike most zombie fare I found this to be true throwback to golden days of the genre. This film reminded me not of Romero and his many copycats but of Lucio Fulci and the Italian zombie film of the late 70s and early 80s: Zombi 2, Gates of Hell, The Beyond, Burial Ground, etc. Terrible acting and an overall abysmal aesthetic do not quite detract from the brutally independent drive of this film. Twisted, nasty, and truly exploitative, Bone Sickness will delight fans of the genre that may have grown tired of the passe zombie film fare that titillates the masses but may feel a bit stale for true horror fans. See more Jun 25, 2011 Ultra low budget, putrid gore filth. Logic and sense are pretty much thrown out the window, but what you get instead is a pretty entertaining, and extremely gory zombie flick, that is a refreshing change from what most zombie movies are nowadays. I suspect this was inspired more from Fulci than Romero, and Im not complaining. The plot and a lot of the acting and dialouge are sketchy and this is very amateurish, but what they managed to create with little to no budget is actually really impressive. Worms and maggots and shit are gross for sure, and no there presence here doesn't make any real sense, but that was the case in Mermaid in the Manhole as well, and they got away with it so why not. I would argue that the film is over long and 20 or so minutes cut could have made the movie a lot less meandering and more direct, but all in all this was pretty good for what it was. Not exactly anything special either, but a gorefest, made by gorehounds for gorehounds. See more Oct 15, 2010 The whole story line for this film is just a bit mash of random scenes and some are really not needed for the development of the film. Zombies didn't really look that great, I think more money should have been put into it as well as more thought. See more Aug 3, 2010 I love gore. This is not gore, this is just terrible, with no hope of anything good in the whole thing. See more Read all reviews
