First episode felt overly messy and chaotic, but the premise and cast are interesting enough to keep watching for now. See more Alan D @AlanD184 20 hrs ago I made it halfway through the second episode. Police procedurals are one of my staples; family dramas generally are not, but I thought that the idea sounded good. Perhaps the idea was good, but the writing is abysmal. The dis-functionality of the lead family is nearly tabloid level. Yet, these are the selfish, self-centered people the police procedural is built around. Also, it appears the crimes are going to be tabloid level. Maybe NBC/Peacock can build an audience watching this backstabbing family solve bizarre federal crimes, but I’m won’t be a part of it See more M S @PiqueMe 1 day ago Im a fan of this show but this one is all over the place jumping and cross pollinating agencies that the family is in. Also throwing in comedic nuances. Its just cutting it. I tried but wont be watching-after episode 2 of a series I wanted to like and enjoy. An improbable scenario where every member of a dysfunctional family works for the Secret Service,US Marshals, Homeland Security, DOJ, or some other branch of Federal Gov't., including a father and son working in the same DC unit of the Secret Service like it's a family business. The head writer, Joshua Safran wrote for Quantico and Gossip Girl. Apparently, Josh mashed-up rejected scripts from both series to create this mess of a show. Watching the talented cast trying to make their supposedly highly intelligent characters and ever meandering storyline believable with the dialog they were given is as entertaining as having a bandaid gradually removed for 60 minutes.
