Harish N @harish_napa Mar 2, 2025 "Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga" (2023) is a Hindi heist thriller that takes viewers on a suspenseful ride aboard a hijacked airplane. While the film's plot may not be entirely original, its fast-paced narrative, unexpected twists, and Yami Gautam's captivating performance make it an entertaining watch. Yami Gautam delivers a standout performance as Neha, a flight attendant who gets entangled in a dangerous heist. Her portrayal of a woman caught between love, desperation, and survival is both convincing and emotionally resonant. Sunny Kaushal also delivers a solid performance as Ankit, her partner in crime, showcasing his versatility as an actor. The film's narrative keeps you on the edge of your seat with its twists and turns, as the heist goes awry and the situation escalates into a hostage situation. The suspense builds steadily, with the confined setting of the airplane adding to the tension and claustrophobia. While the film's plot may borrow from familiar heist tropes, it manages to keep the audience engaged with its well-executed twists and turns. The climax is particularly thrilling, offering a satisfying resolution to the high-stakes drama. The film's technical aspects are commendable, with the cinematography effectively capturing the tension and claustrophobia of the airplane setting. The background score adds to the suspense and complements the film's overall tone. Overall, "Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga" is an entertaining heist thriller that delivers on its promise of suspense and intrigue. Yami Gautam's captivating performance and the film's well-executed twists make it a worthwhile watch for fans of the genre. However, I watched it after a friend recommend it and found the story relatively unique and quite impressive. I liked the way the story was explained at the end but I felt like it was inconsistent before then. Sometimes, I was entertained by the movie a lot and others I felt it dragged and I was bored. The finished product is an okay crime thriller that I felt had the potential to be even more enjoyable. Overall, I think it is a fun way to spend some time casually but I also feel like there are better thrillers that largely take place on an aircraft, as oddly specific as that sounds. See more S M @SMgolf Apr 2, 2023 It is rare to see a clean, action packed movie or drama series from Netflix now a days. This movie is an an exception. War sailor, that was just released, is another WWII based series. The whole topic of WWII is now stale but the media keeps creating scripts. Netflix should use its money (our money) for licensing TV shows like the Good Doctor and show it without commercials. MI5, 24, Designated Survivor, were excellent shows. See more Read all reviews
