The combination of a shallow plot and miscast performers renders Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li a perfectly forgettable video game adaptation.

This painful background tale of the schoolgirl master of the really slow fireball attack almost makes one yearn for the days of Jean-Claude Van Damme. Go to Full Review Perri Nemiroff CinemaBlend Aug 14, 2010

Trades in vital game info to squeeze in as much acrobatics and fighting sequences as possible. Bartkowiak shouldn't have taken the first part of the title so literally. Go to Full Review Marc Savlov Austin Chronicle Mar 5, 2009

The strange part of this movie is, there isn’t much street fighting. Most of the characters use firearms, and they fight in the street only on occasion. [...] Perhaps the producers forgot the title of the movie. Go to Full Review David Hogan hoganreviews.co.uk Jul 8, 2020

Wooden acting, poor special effects and zero fight choreography, plus this film is SOMEHOW an even worse adaptation of its source material than the first film. Avoid! Go to Full Review Scott Beggs Film School Rejects Apr 16, 2019

Its very boring for a movie with so much action I proffered the mortal Kombat movies much more.
