Roger S @RT66529725 Sep 7, 2026 I don’t know or understand why the main critics here basically hated this movie. 7% cmon. At least 7% here are like me. I liked this movie so much that I might buy it from Apple TV. I admit it could have been done differently for the dreamy parts. But then the ending explains everything. It’s a nice simple tv movie perfectly fit for streaming. It’s not theater quality and more like a drama triller or dramatiller - my creative word. Acting by the casts are great. Not Academy Awards nominees caliber but good enough. Good non explosions, gun movie. I’m sure nra not happy with this movie 😅. This movie can be watched by family with teenage kids. Just couple of scenes can be fast forwarded with over 16s and always explain some adult type scenes, in my opinion. The stuff that teens are exposed to on the internet is far worse than any movie can do to them. It’s actually a good educational movie experience for young adults and late teens. I went into it without expecting much, especially after seeing how poorly it was received, but I ended up really enjoying it. The mystery, dark atmosphere, and psychological side kept me interested throughout, and I genuinely wasn’t expecting the twist. Jim Carrey also did a surprisingly good job in such a dark role. That said, the movie definitely has its flaws. Some parts feel a little too exaggerated, the symbolism can get repetitive, and the story sometimes tries a bit too hard to make everything feel connected to the number 23. The execution isn’t perfect either. Still, I think it’s way too underrated. It may not be a flawless psychological thriller, but it was a great experience for me. I was entertained, invested, and genuinely surprised by where it went. Definitely glad I watched it.
