In this next installment, Gromit's concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified, when Wallace invents a "smart" gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own. Like its predecessors, this animation is a masterclass in Claymation. The level of detail and care put into every frame is evident, and it’s clear that the filmmakers poured hours of effort into bringing these characters and their world to life.

The animation and character writing has reached is really done well in this movie, but I will write that there were some writing problems including the pacing and especially Albert Makintosh as Albert fells really inconsistent. Aside from that the movie is enjoyable, funny and suspenseful feeling like it was ripped out of the wrong trousers era with a thrilling climax!
