Bridgerton follows Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor), the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family as she makes her debut onto Regency London’s competitive marriage market. Hoping to follow in her parent’s footsteps and find a match sparked by true love, Daphne’s prospects initially seem to be unrivaled. But as her older brother begins to rule out her potential suitors, the high society scandal sheet written by the mysterious Lady Whistledown casts aspersions on Daphne. Enter the highly desirable and rebellious Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page), committed bachelor and the catch of the season for the debutantes’ mamas. Despite proclaiming that they want nothing the other has to offer, their attraction is undeniable and sparks fly as they find themselves engaged in an increasing battle of wits while navigating society’s expectations for their future.

However, what works early on is the theme of relationships being tested... Best of all, the yearning romance fans crave is here, too. Go to Full Review

It’s another story of unrequited love made possible by poor communication, the avoidance of social scandal and undeniable chemistry, which is exactly what you want from a season of this steamy series. Go to Full Review

Thanks to the fire of actress Yerin Ha, this fourth chapter in this saggy saga of love among the haves and have nots can still thrill us with the pleasures of the unexpected. Go to Full Review

Bridgerton is brilliant with them [Thompson and Ha] in the center, but they need to cut off the storylines that are not working. In the meantime, the season that exists is not good enough for us to give anything but a tepid thumbs up. Go to Full Review

This spectacular affair was so stunningly choreographed, and so magnificently ambitious, that even if you've never seen Bridgerton before, it's worth watching this opening episode just to marvel at the spectacle. Go to Full Review

There are times when you feel you’re watching provincial panto, even if Thompson and Ha have great, spiky chemistry. Go to Full Review

Mika M @Mikavm 1h Me sorprende no ver un mejor score de audiencia. Esta temporada se está transformando en mi favorita. Hermoso soundtrack y la química de Luke y Yerin es una locura de ver!! See more Carole S @Sulley613 8h Yerin Ha is the ONLY positive in this season of Bridgerton. She shines! It is too bad she was not able to elevate the rest of the cast or inspire better writing. Bridgerton does cliche more than most shows, but this season takes cliche to a whole new level. Luke Thompson plays Benedict like he is a walking STD. He is not very convincing as a man who is supposedly in the 12-step program recovery from "rakism". All those meaningful glances directed at Sophie come off fake. All those words he spouts off that should sound sincere and romantic feel like the character is being fed the lines from a wordsmith that is hiding in the bushes. (Think Cyrano de Bergerac). They really needed to have come up with a better way to reform Benedict because he is far from being worthy of Sophie. Then we have all the other characters and their sub stories. What happened to the fun and witty Eloise? She has become so boring. Then there is Francesca! Her whole storyline is tragically headed for doomdom. See more Ana P @Apgqueiroz 10h Gosto da temporada. O romance central é a cópia do livro, amei. O que mais gostei foi do ar de conto de fadas, uma fofura. Só não consigo levar o Benedict a sério, ele é muito cômico. Já as subtramas, passo, não são tão empolgantes, são um pouco monótonas e cansativas. Mas a séria é boa. Melhor temporada. See more Leo Q @Que.Sr 12h This season is my favorite season of all seasons, because I like the chemistry between the two main characters and the storyline is like "Cinderella" which is what I like See more Babi P @BabiPP 1d Tem potencial de ser a melhor temporada de bridgerton até agora A química do casal é impecável A atuação dos protagonistas é incrível Os arcos secundários são interessantes O tempo de tela é melhor equilibrado E os detalhes técnicos de fotografia, direção, maquiagem e figurinos estão os melhores See more Albert L @AlbertLamb1 1d Benedict isn’t an interesting enough character to carry an entire season. He falls incredibly short for a leading man. See more Read all reviews
